The Juggling Ensemble is a concept for a dynamic installation based on the Blind Juggler. Multiple (32 in the video) Blind Juggler units create audio-visual patterns. The installation is envisioned to be interactive: Visitors could design their own audio-visual patterns and performances with a user-interface.
The computer-animation was designed and rendered by Carolina Flores based on a physical simulation of the bouncing balls. The simulation includes a process-noise model derived from measurement-data obtained with the Blind Juggler. Therefore, the animation is a realistic depiction of what can be achieved with an implementation of the concept.
